DOSE: Open vial and dissolve contents in a glass of
cool (dechlorinated) water. If bacteria media in vial is
dry just soak vial in water to extract contents. Stir liquid
well and let settle. Only pour off liquid into aquarium. This
liquid will be sufficient for any size tank up to
150
gallon
in size. Follow by adding 1 drop per gallon from bottle.
Repeat drops for 2 more days.

Damaged or Stressed Filter Beds * Cycling a Fishless Aquarium.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Increase water temperature to 85 degrees
during cycle. The introduction of a few inexpensive Marine fish
or Freshwater Mollies will be an additional aid to accelerate tank
cycle time. Daily monitoring of water chemistry is highly recom-
mended. If a high ammonia level is present for over 2 weeks, do
a 1/4 water change from the bottom of the tank every third day
until ammonia level drops. Avoid combining chemical and antibiotics
unless otherwise suggested by manufacturer or dealer.
SHIELDEX
squirted directly on filter bed media (3 teaspoon per each 50 gallons)
can be a positive cycling aid.
