This is a dual purpose product. First, it supplies oxygen
to the water and second aids in ammonia poisoning situa-
tions. Colorless Freshwater and Marine emergency oxygen
supply aids to control * Gasping * Listlessness * Low Oxy-
gen Level * Surface Breathing * Poor Air Supply * Loss of
Oxygen * Organic Decay. One capsule will raise oxygen level
of each 5 gallons for water (at pH of 8)by approxi-mately
1.5 PPM. All fish safe. Treats up to
500
gallons.
DOSE: Open capsule and introduce powder directly into tank.
Each capsule will raise oxygen level of each 5 NET gallons of
water (at pH of 8) by approximately 1.5 PPM. Do not repeat
dose more than twice. One treatment is usually sufficient.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
OXYGENEX
is an effective, colorless
aid in Marine and Freshwater aquarium for the treatment of * Oxygen
Depletion * Poor Air Supply * Oxygen Starvation due to Organic
Decay * Gasping * Oxygen Loss in Transfer * Oxygen Loss Due to
the Presence of Brown Algae. Excessive use of
OXYGENEX
can
produce toxic reactions. This product should be used in emergency
situations only.
OXYGENEX
used as directed is safe in the com
munity tank and will not affect biological filter beds.
FOR BEST RESULTS: A partial water change using
SHIELDEX
as directed is recommended before and after treatment. Avoid
combining chemicals and antibiotics unless otherwise suggested
by manufacturer or dealer. If undesired chemicals or antibiotics
are present in tank water, first filter with
CARBON-IT
for 3 to 4
hours and then do a partial water change. Continue filtration but
remove carbon from filter during treatment. If low oxygen levels
are a continuing problem use
INTENSIVE CARE
on a regular
basis.
OXYGENEX
works faster to supply an immediate air
supply to fish but is not recommend for continued use.
