DOSE: Use 1 disk for each 25 NET gallons of aquarium water.
Add new disk when old disk has reduced to 1/4 original size.
Old disk can then be removed or left in the tank. Disk will
dissolve slowly over a period of 1 to 2 weeks (depending upon
demand).
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: SHIM CONTROL is an effective color-
less aid in all Freshwater and Marine aquaria for * Shimmy

Maintenance. Disk can be placed in aquarium in plastic tray
with open side up or removed from tray (your choice). If used
in tray any residue will be caught by tray making removal easy.
To extract disk from tray, hold tray with both thumbs centered
on closed side of tray and push forward while bending back side
flaps. SHIM CONTROL used as directed is safe in the community
tank and will not affect biological filter beds.
MARINE: Avoid use in the presence of invertebrates.
FOR BEST RESULTS: A partial water change using SHIELDEX as
directed is recommended before placing disk in aquarium. Avoid
combining chemicals and antibiotics unless otherwise suggested
by manufacturer or dealer. If undesired chemicals or antibiotics
are present in tank water, first filter with CARBON-IT for 3 to 4
hours and then do a partial water change. To avoid stress due to
oxygen depletion during treatment use INTENSIVE CARE  as directed
when disk is introduced into the aquarium.
