Methylene Blue is effective against superficial fungal infections of fish. The product may be used as an alternative to Malachite Green for the control of fungus when it is known that the fish to be treated are sensitive. Methylene Blue is safe for use with fish eggs and fry for the prevention of fungal infections
Use half a capful for 50L of water. One capful treats 100L of water.
For prevention, use only once when water parameter becomes very concerning
For medicating, isolate sick fish in hospital tank. Use the same dose, but re-dose every 2 days with at least 25% water change for three times (6 days total)
Longer treatment may be necessary. If there is no improvement after two weeks, stop the medication
